Dans la politique d’implantation des entreprises françaises en Côte d’Ivoire, la Banque publique d’investissement (Bpi) de l’Etat français a mis en place un nouveau mécanisme de mise en relation entre les entrepreneurs africains et français. Dénommée « Inspire & Connect », cette nouvelle plateforme a démarré à Abidjan le 2 juin 2021 pour s’étendre par la suite au Kenya en passant par le Maroc.
Concernant l’étape d’Abidjan, près de 350 opérateurs économiques ont participé à des sessions de panels et de rencontres B to B. Objectif, voir dans quels domaines d’activités ils peuvent investir dans une sorte de partenariat gagnant avec la Côte d’Ivoire.
Pour le ministre ivoirien de l’Economie et des Finances, Adama Coulibaly, ces entrepreneurs français peuvent prendre leur place dans le nouveau Plan national de développement (Pnd 2021-2025) qui vise, pour le gouvernement, à réaliser la transformation économique et sociale et permettre à la Côte d’Ivoire d’atteindre à l’horizon 2030, le rang de pays à revenu intermédiaire de la tranche supérieure. Estimé à près de 59.000 milliards de FCFA, ce nouveau plan inclut une part de 43.646,4 milliards de FCFA du secteur privé, soit 74% et 15.353 milliards de FCFA pour le financement le public, soit 26%. Les secteurs à explorer, selon le ministre, sont l’éducation, la santé, les infrastructures, entre autres.
Un jour avant, Nicolas Dufourcq, directeur général de Bpi France, et le ministre Adama Coulibaly avaient signé un protocole d’accord visant, pour cette banque française, à accompagner le gouvernement ivoirien à réfléchir à la création d’une banque publique au profit des entrepreneurs ivoiriens. Afin de développer l’entreprenariat en Côte d’Ivoire.
