Le Premier ministre malien de Transition, Choguel Maïga avait annoncé mercredi, la formation d’un nouveau gouvernement d’ici dimanche prochain.
Le Président malien de Transition, Assimi Goïta a dévoilé, vendredi, la composition du nouveau Gouvernement du pays réintégrant les militaires aux postes clés.
En vertu du décret présidentiel « 2021-385 », signé le 11 juin et « portant nomination des nouveaux membres du gouvernement », et en concordance avec la Constitution malienne, ainsi que la Charte de Transition du pays, il est précisé que ces nominations adviennent « sur proposition du Premier ministre », Dr. Choguel Kokalla Maïga.
Selon l’ « article 1er » de ce décret, le Colonel Sadio Camara, évincé de ce poste dans le précédent gouvernement proposé par l’ex-premier ministre Moctar Ouane, devient le nouveau numéro 2 du gouvernement en reprenant les rennes du Ministère de la Défense et des Anciens Combattants, alors que le Colonel Modibo Koné est nommé ministre de la Communication, de l’Économie numérique et de la Modernisation de l’administration.
L’ex-président de transition Bah N’Daw avait été destitué le mois dernier par Assimi Goïta assumant la Présidence de Transition du pays après avoir également évincé Moctar Ouane de la Primature le 24 mai dernier.
Ibrahima Ikassa Maïga, membre du Mouvement du 5-Juin -Rassemblement des forces patriotiques (M5-RFP), dont fait également partie le Premier ministre de Transition, Choguel Maïga, devient le nouveau ministre de la Refondation de l’État.
Abdoulaye Diop, ancien ministre des Affaires étrangères sous la présidence d’Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta, renversé le 18 août 2020 par le putsch militaire, retrouve son poste à la tête de la Diplomatie malienne.
Le Colonel-major Ismaël Wagué, faisant partie des auteurs du putsch d’août 2020, garde son poste au ministère de la Réconciliation nationale, alors que l’ancien Chef d’état-major adjoint des Armées maliennes, le Colonel-major, Daoud Aly Mohammedine devient ministre de la Sécurité et de la Protection Civile, le lieutenant-colonel Abdoulaye Maïga prenant les rennes de l’Administration territoriale.
Le nouveau cabinet ministériel inclut 28 membres, dont 25 ministres et trois ministres délégués.

Le Président français, Emmanuel Macron a annoncé jeudi, la fin de l’opération Barkhane au Sahel, au cours d’une conférence de presse tenue à la veille de l’ouverture du sommet du G7.
S’agissant de la situation malienne, Macron a expliqué que ce retrait annoncé, reflétait, notamment, un désaccord avec la démarche de la (Communauté économique des États de l’Afrique de l’Ouest) Cédéao, de reconnaître le colonel Assimi Goïta comme vice-président de la transition, à la suite du coup d’État du 18 août 2020 et de la mise en place de la Charte de Transition en septembre.
Selon cette dernière, des élections sont prévues dans le pays les 27 février et 13 mars 2022.
