L’ex-président ivoirien, Laurent Gbagbo, va effectuer un voyage dans un pays africain. C’est son premier voyage hors de la Côte d’Ivoire, après son retour de Bruxelles et surtout à la suite de son acquittement définitif par la Cour Pénale Internationale.
Laurent Gbagbo a un agenda politique très chargé depuis son retour en Côte d’Ivoire le 17 juin. Alors qu’il avait annoncé ce jour qu’il prendrait un temps de repos pour récupérer et pleurer ses morts, Laurent Gbagbo est presque sur tous les fronts. Le voilà qui quitte déjà la Côte d’Ivoire dans quelques heures. Laurent Gbagbo se rend dans un pays d’Afrique centrale.
D’après les termes d’un communiqué de son porte-parole Justin Koné Katinan, « Son Excellence le Président Laurent GBAGBO effectuera un voyage à Kinshasa, en République Démocratique du Congo (RDC) du vendredi 02 Juillet 2021 au jeudi 8 juillet 2021″. Sur l’agenda de Laurent Gbagbo en République Démocratique du Congo, Katinan évoque un voyage « d’ordre strictement privé ».
Si on peut présumer que Gbagbo rencontrera forcément son ancien compagnon de cellule, Jean-Pierre Bemba, on remarque tout de suite que l’ex-président ivoirien met un point d’honneur à dissiper toute idée de parade et d’opulence en indiquant le moyen par lequel il se rend en RDC. « Son Excellence le Président Laurent GBAGBO prendra un vol commercial à partir de l’aéroport international Félix Houphouët Boigny le vendredi 2 juillet 2021 et regagnera Abidjan également par vol commercial le jeudi 8 juillet 2021 », précise le communiqué.
