Le président congolais, lors d’un sommet virtuel entrant dans le cadre de la célébration du centenaire du Parti Communiste Chinois (PCC), a notamment salué « les performances élogieuses » de l’empire du Milieu.Singulière, la Chine l’est aux yeux du Parti Congolais du Travail (PCT, au pouvoir).

Les deux entités, a souligné Denis Sassou Nguesso, se sont toujours illustrées par une nette convergence de vues sur les questions internationales comme le respect de la souveraineté des Etats, la non-ingérence dans les affaires intérieures, le multilatéralisme et la coopération gagnant-gagnant.
Le président congolais a aussi souligné que la Chine, sur la voie de la prospérité et du développement, a sorti 800 millions de personnes de l’extrême pauvreté. Poursuivant, il exprimé son souhait de voir les relations sino-congolaises se « consolider davantage » à travers un partenariat stratégique global. En outre, Denis Sassou Nguesso a réaffirmé « la disponibilité » du PCT à coopérer avec le PCC parce que la Chine est un acteur incontournable du monde « d’aujourd’hui et de demain ».
