Ghezzal a convaincu à Besiktas. La saison dernière, le Fennec a inscrit 8 buts et délivré 18 passes en 35 rencontres disputées. Des statistiques qui font de lui le meilleur passeur du championnat turc et qui lui ont permis de jouer un rôle important dans les deux coupes remportées par le club. Mais le joueur n’était présent en Turquie que sous la forme d’un prêt sans option d’achat en provenance de Leicester.
Besiktas veut conserver l’international algérien. Selon les informations du média turc NTV Spor, les deux clubs seraient en négociations pour le transfert définitif de Ghezzal. Leicester et Besiktas tentent de se mettre d’accord sur le montant de la vente du joueur, à qui il ne reste plus qu’un an de contrat chez les Foxes. Rachid Ghezzal pourrait donc rester définitivement en Süper Lig !
