La sous-préfecture et la mairie de l’arrondissement de Ouenkoro dans la région de Mopti (centre), ont été saccagées, dans la nuit de dimanche à lundi, a appris Anadolu auprès du premier adjoint au maire, Housseini Sankaré.
Des hommes lourdement armés, venus sur plusieurs dizaines de motos ont fait irruption dans la mairie et à la sous-préfecture de Ouenkoro et détruits tous les documents administratifs, a affirmé la même source.
Des documents matériels ont été emportés regrette Housseini Sankaré. L’élu communal précise qu’il n’ y a pas eu des pertes en vies avant d’ajouter que les hommes armés ont mis le feu dans les locaux de la mairie et de la sous-préfecture avant de partir.
En février 2020, une attaque simultanée dans 3 villages la commune de Ouenkoro avait fait 12 morts parmi les civils à Korni, Sankoro et à Bidi.
