Microsoft va mêler la musique de Spotify et ce qu’il sait de votre To-Do pour vous aider à vous concentrer au travail.
Contrairement aux autres géants du web, Microsoft ne propose plus de service de musiques. Après l’échec de Zune, Xbox Music et Groove, Microsoft a jeté l’éponge et s’associe désormais avec Spotify pour proposer des fonctions sur Xbox et dans Windows. Avec Windows 11, ce partenariat va aller un peu plus loin.
DES SESSIONS DE CONCENTRATION ACTIVE
Comme on pouvait le pressentir, Panos Panay a présenté une nouvelle fonction de Windows 11 sur son compte Twitter en utilisant les mêmes modalités que la présentation du nouvel outil capture d’écran de Windows 11, 24 heures plus tôt. Cette fois, il s’agit d’une toute nouvelle fonction pour Windows 11 : les sessions de concentration. Comme le nom l’indique, elle permet de définir un temps pendant lequel on souhaite se couper du monde pour se concentrer sur l’accomplissement d’une tâche.

Comme on peut le voir dans la courte vidéo, il s’agit d’une nouveauté de l’application Alarmes et horloge. La démonstration est très rapide, mais on peut tout de même avoir une bonne lisibilité de l’interface.
L’interface présente quelques éléments de Microsoft To Do, pour visualiser les tâches qu’il reste à accomplir. On a également une rubrique pour définir un temps pendant lequel on souhaite se concentrer et une barre de progression pour se réconforter. L’idée est donc de sélectionner une tâche, puis de se concentrer dessus pendant par exemple 30 minutes, avant de faire une pause. Mais le plus intéressant se trouve en bas à droite.
On voit en effet que Spotify va proposer des playlists de concentration. La création de playlists est le grand point fort de Spotify parmi les services de musiques. On peut imaginer que la fonction utilisera aussi l’assistant de concentration de Windows qui permet de désactiver temporairement les notifications, notamment quand on lance une vidéo en plein écran ou un jeu vidéo.
Cette nouvelle fonction s’inscrit parfaitement dans l’ADN de Windows 11 qui doit faciliter notamment le télétravail, avec l’intégration de Microsoft Teams directement dans la barre des tâches.
