Le jeune mouvement politique Maan a dénoncé un «monopole des laboratoires» en termes de dépistage au Covid-19, selon un communiqué envoyé à Yabiladi. Pour rappel, les laboratoires avaient obtenus récemment du gouvernement l’interdiction de la vente de tests antigéniques par les pharmacies.
Les membres du mouvement rappellent qu’une entreprise marocaine a réussi une «prouesse scientifique» en développant un test antigénique, réalisable par tous, dont le coût ne dépasse pas 100 dirhams, bien inférieur aux tests PCR conventionnels pratiqués en laboratoire. Malgré l’homologation par le ministère de la Santé, le test a été retiré de la vente. «Nous considérons que cette décision est arbitraire et nuit au pouvoir d’achat des Marocains. C’est également un nouveau frein a la recherche scientifique dans notre pays», dénonce le mouvement Maan.
Pour dénouer cette situation qui relève de la souveraineté sanitaire, Maan appelle «a l’ouverture d’une enquête indépendante sur cette affaire de santé publique et que les résultats soient publiés sur le plan national». Le mouvement rappelle que «la santé de nos concitoyens ne doit pas être une variable d’ajustement ni une source d’enrichissement ou de rente». La santé doit être au contraire «sanctuarisée», et toutes les initiatives nationales bienveillantes doivent être saisies pour «renforcer l’industrie pharmaceutique et atteindre ainsi, notre souveraineté sanitaire».
