L’ancien premier secrétaire du Parti socialiste Jean-Christophe Cambadélis a confié mardi être contre « l’autoritarisme écologique » qu’il sent poindre chez certains candidats à la primaire des Verts, estimant que la « gauche responsable » était préférable à la « radicalisation ».
M. Cambadélis tenait une conférence de presse pour présenter les « 200 aphorismes » qui traduisent, « à l’époque des SMS et des tweets, sa contribution » avant le Congrès du PS en septembre et la désignation d’un candidat à la présidentielle.
Il a fustigé la « radicalisation » qu’il dit observer chez plusieurs formations à gauche, estimant que cette posture conduisait à une « incapacité à conduire la transition » vers un « nouveau contrat social et écologique ».
L’ancien patron du PS (2014-2017) a en particulier affirmé être contre « l’autoritarisme écologique »: le candidat à la primaire verte de septembre « Eric Piolle est sûrement le plus écologiste des écologistes, mais il ne se prononce jamais sur les moyens d’y parvenir, sachant que s’il le ferait, il buterait sur la question démocratique ».
Le maire de Grenoble a indiqué aux Journées d’été de Poitiers, la semaine dernière, compter sur « la majorité culturelle » qui en France serait devenue écologiste.
Pour Jean-Christophe Cambadélis, « les écologistes pensent que l’humanité n’est pas capable de faire face aux défis, qu’il faudra un régime quasi militaire » pour conduire la transition écologique.
« Pour les écologistes, le moment est historique, ils estiment que s’ils ne passent pas devant les socialistes à cette présidentielle ils ne le feront jamais, donc il vont choisir un candidat capable de battre Anne Hidalgo », potentielle candidat désignée par le PS.
La maire de Paris a, ces dernières semaines, « accéléré parce qu’elle voyait les doutes sur sa candidature, qui l’empêcheraient de monter dans les sondages », a analysé M. Cambadélis, qui affirme avoir été « son premier soutien » même s’il n’exclut pas de participer à une éventuelle primaire du PS.
« S’il n’y a pas de primaire, il y aura des critiques sur une Anne Hidalgo qui se serait auto-désignée », a-t-il expliqué.
