Les léopards Messieurs basketball ont signé leur première victoire 70-66 devant les requins Bleus du Cap Vert, jeudi 26 août en match de la 2e journée de l’Afrobasket Rwanda 2021.
Battus lors de la première journée par les Amavubis du Rwanda (82-68), les Léopards de la RDC étaient en effet contraints de s’imposer face aux Requins Bleus du Cap-Vert Tombeurs des Palancas Negras d’Angola (71-77). Avec cette victoire l’équipe congolaise peut espérer à une qualification au prochain tour de cette compétition. Pour la troisième et dernière journée, les Léopards croiseront les Palancas Negras d’Angola le samedi 28 août 2021.
