Le produit net bancaire (PNB) de Coris Bank International a enregistré une hausse de 30,66% au terme du premier semestre 2021 comparés à la même période de l’année 2020, ont annoncé les dirigeants de cet établissement bancaire basé à Ouagadougou au Burkina Faso.
Ce PNB s’est établi à 40,627 milliards de FCFA au 30 juin 2021 contre 32,624 milliards de FCFA au 30 juin 2020, soit une augmentation de 10,003 milliards de FCFA. Selon les dirigeants de cet établissement bancaire cette progression est impulsée par « une hausse soutenue de la marge d’intérêts clientèle tenant compte de l’évolution de la collecte des dépôts de 37,3% et des financements a la clientèle de 21,3%, un accroissement des revenus issus de l’activité de trésorerie avec une hausse de l’encours titres de 31,6% et d’une progression appréciable des commissions nettes. »
Toutefois, le rapport d’activités semestriel de la banque indique une évolution de 25,87% des charges générales d’exploitation à 14,325 milliards de FCFA contre 11,381 milliards de FCFA au 30 juin 2020.
Quant au résultat brut d’exploitation, il connait une progression de 33,22% à 28,302 milliards de FCFA contre 21,244 milliards de FCFA au premier semestre 2020.
Le coût du risque de la banque a augmenté de 23,57% avec un niveau qui passe de 3,526 milliards de FCFA au 30 juin 2020 à 4,357 milliards de FCFA au 30 juin 2021.
Pour sa part, le résultat avant impôts a fortement progressé de 45,58%, s’établissant à 25,812 milliards de FCFA contre 17,731 milliards de FCFA au premier semestre 2020.
La même tendance haussière est notée concernant le résultat net qui s’est établi à 22,706 milliards de FCFA contre 16,048 milliards de FCFA au 30 juin 2020 (+41,49%).
Pour le second semestre 2021, les responsables de Coris Bank International entendent consolider les acquis à travers la poursuite du déploiement des plans d’actions tels que déclinés dans le plan stratégique et la mise en œuvre de la stratégie digitale. « Aussi, signalent-ils encore, Coris Bank International poursuivra le renforcement de son dispositif de gestion des risques et de contrôle interne. »
