Lors de cette dernière cérémonie qui a lieu à Lagos au Nigeria, il a reçu les prix du Meilleur artiste masculin de l’Afrique de l’Ouest ; Meilleur album de l’année ; Meilleur artiste masculin d’inspiration de musique ; Meilleur auteur compositeur de l’année et Meilleur artiste masculin ou groupe de pop en Afrique. Malgré tout, Iba One continue de remporter d’autres distinctions. Il vient d’ailleurs d’être à l’honneur à Dakar, lors des Galsen hip-hop Awards.
Sans grande surprises, comme confirmant toutes ses distinctions récentes, Iba One a été désigné meilleur africain de l’année et son album « Empire » a remporté le meilleur album africain de l’année 2021.
