Qalaa Holdings a enregistré un chiffre d’affaires consolidé en hausse de 46% en glissement annuel à 12,8 milliards d’EGP (817 millions USD), selon les résultats financiers trimestriels publiés par la société égyptienne qui opère dans l’énergie et les infrastructures. Au terme du 3e trimestre 2021, l’EBITDA (bénéfice avant intérêts, impôts, dépréciation et amortissement) du groupe a également été multiplié par sept pour atteindre 1,2 milliard d’EGP (77 millions USD).
Cette performance est due à ses stratégies opérationnelles mises en œuvre, mais également à la croissance de ses sociétés de plateformes, soutenues par une remontée mondiale des prix des matières premières. L’amélioration des marges de raffinage chez la Société Egyptienne de Raffinage (ERC) a également participé à la réalisation de cette croissance.
Hors ERC, le groupe a enregistré une croissance de 39 % en glissement annuel de son chiffre d’affaires à 4,7 milliards d’EGP (300 millions USD) et un EBITDA récurrent en hausse de 63 % en glissement annuel à 520,6 millions d’EGP (33 millions USD ) au cours de la période sous revue.
Selon Ahmed Heikal (photo), président et fondateur de Qalaa Holdings, ces résultats reflètent l’impact positif d’une remontée mondiale des prix des matières premières sur les activités de Qalaa, et la reprise des marges de raffinage d’ERC au cours de la période considérée.
