Le porte-parole du gouvernement ivoirien, Amadou Coulibaly, a annoncé mercredi l’adoption en Conseil des ministres, d’une règlementation des transports public particuliers.
« Le Conseil a adopté un décret portant réglementation des transports publics particuliers », a déclaré le porte-parole du gouvernement ivoirien, Amadou Coulibaly, face à la presse, à l’issue d’un Conseil des ministres. Le transport public particulier, expliquera-t-il, regroupe « des activités de mise en relation des usagers avec les conducteurs ou transporteurs, de covoiturage, de service de transports d’utilités sociales et de Véhicule de transport avec chauffeur (VTC) ».
Le Véhicule de transport avec chauffeur (VTC) est généralement soutenu par un réseau numérique de réservation, à l’instar de Yango ou Uber. A Abidjan, plusieurs véhicules particuliers opèrent à partir des applications de ces entités. « Ce décret précise les conditions d’accès à ces différentes activités ainsi que les modalités de leur exercice en vue d’organiser ce secteur d’activité et de le mettre en cohérence avec la règlementation relative au marché du taxi et au transport public des personnes en général », a-t-il dit.
L’Association des conducteurs de taxis compteurs (ACTC), avait observé un arrêt de travail allant du 2 au 6 novembre 2021 pour dénoncer une « pratique illégale des véhicules personnels » sur l’application Yango et Uber.
