La revue conjointe de la performance du portefeuille de la Banque mondiale au Mali a été lancée ce mercredi 15 décembre à Bamako. Objectif, examiner, avec l’implication de toutes les parties prenantes, les progrès réalisés et le résultat atteint par les financements par l’institution internationale.
Selon Clara Ana De Sousa, directrice des opérations de la Banque mondiale pour le Mali, le Burkina Faso, le Tchad et le Niger, le portefeuille de l’institution au Mali s’est élargi au cours des dernières années et comprend un ensemble de 31 opérations pour un engagement de près de 2 milliards USD ». Cet élargissement, a-t-elle précisé, vise à adresser les nombreux défis auxquels le pays doit faire face, en l’occurrence ceux induits par les fragilités, les conflits et les violences.
« Au Mali, le cumul des décaissements effectués sur les montants approuvés est de 777,33 millions USD, soit environ 452,41 milliards de FCFA », a affirmé, pour sa part, Abdoulaye Traoré, le secrétaire général ministère malien de l’Economie et des Finances.
Notons que le taux global de décaissement cumulé du portefeuille est de 41,20% à la date du 31 octobre 2021. Au 30 novembre 2021, le taux au titre de l’année fiscale 2021-2022 au titre des projets nationaux ressort à 6,17% sur un objectif annuel d’au moins 20%. Et l’âge moyen du portefeuille au titre des projets nationaux est d’environ 4,18 ans.
