Victorien Moundouma Bita a asséné de violents coups à son fils de 04 ans parce que ce dernier aurait mangé son plat de feuille de manioc. L’enfant est décédé au moment où le géniteur le conduisait à l’hôpital militaire du PK 9.
Les faits se sont passés dans la mi-journée du jeudi 16 décembre 2021. Le père a constaté que son fils a consommé son plat de feuilles de manioc. Face à cette indiscipline, il décide de lui donner une correction en lui administrant de violents coups.
Après la bastonnade, il sort se promener et revient à 23 heures. En état d’ivresse, il continue de bastonner son fils jusqu’ à ce qu’il perde connaissance.
Face à la gravité de son acte, Victorien Moundouma Bita va conduire son enfant d’urgence, durant la nuit, à l’hôpital militaire du PK 9. Pour cacher son acte, il explique au personnel médical que l’enfant venait de faire une chute. Mais les traces de coups sur le corps du gamin ne présentent pas une chute mais plutôt une bastonnade.
Les médecins découvrent, en l’auscultant, des fractures au niveau de la mâchoire inférieure, du bras gauche et de la tête ainsi que des hématomes sur plusieurs autres parties du corps.
Tout en espérant réanimer la victime du militaire, des responsables de l’établissement hospitalier ont aussitôt alerté la brigade de gendarmerie du PK 9. Des agents de cette unité de la Gendarmerie nationale ont donc appréhendé le caporal-chef, avant de le mettre à la disposition de la justice.
Son déferrement devant le parquet de la République ne devrait intervenir qu’au terme de l’enquête préliminaire.
