Un instructeur de taekwondo a été interpellé mardi par la police gabonaise dans le cadre d’une enquête ouverte suite à un scandale de pédophilie dans les milieux sportifs du Gabon.
Connu au Gabon sous le pseudonyme de “Maître Chacka”, Martin Aveira est l’un des encadreurs sportifs gabonais cités dans une enquête journalistique relayée par le quotidien britannique The Guardian.
Avera qui est également propriétaire d’un club, avait été suspendu il y a huit jours de toute activité relevant du taekwendo par le président de la ligue de la province de la capitale Libreville. Interrogé par plusieurs médias locaux, il avait clamé son innocence.
L’interpellation de Martin Avera, suit celle de Patrick Assoumou Eyi alias Capello, l’ancien entraîneur gabonais de football de l’équipe nationale des moins de 17 ans, accusé d’agressions sexuelles présumées sur des centaines d’enfants.
