Le chef de l’Etat a dépeint un contexte international marqué par de nombreuses crises : la crise sanitaire de covid-19, la crise économique, la crise migratoire, le terrorisme, le changement climatique et plaidé pour plus de solidarité entre les nations. Sur les difficultés auxquelles le Congo fait face au plan économique, Denis Sassou N’Guesso a déclaré être optimiste pour l’avenir.
Le président congolais a, par ailleurs, réitéré son engagement à poursuivre sa mission à la tête du comité de haut niveau de l’Union africaine sur la Libye, afin, a-t-il insisté, que « ce pays frère retrouve la paix et la stabilité ».
