Le RCD Mallorca a battu Eibar cet après-midi (2-1) et s’est qualifié pour les huitièmes de finale de la Coupe du Roi. Blessé depuis plusieurs semaines, Amath Ndiaye a signé son retour.
Seulement quinzième en Championnat, le RCD Mallorca l’a échappé bel ce mercredi après lors des 16e de finale de la Coupe du Roi. En déplacement à Ipurua pour faire face à Eibar, actuelle deuxième de LaLiga SmartBank, la formation de Luis Garcia s’est finalement imposée (2-1) après avoir été menée jusqu’à la 68e minute.
Alors que Gustavo Blanco avait ouvert le score pour le club basque à la 45e minute, les Insulaires ont renversé la marque grâce à des réalisations de Josep Gaya (68e) et d’Ángel (82e). Un succès qui permet alors à Mallorca de poursuivre dans la Coupe du Roi et de se qualifier pour les huitièmes de finale.
Absent des terrains pour blessure depuis le 22 novembre 2021 face au Rayo Vallecano en Championnat, Amath Ndiaye a effectué son retour à la compétition lors de cette rencontre. L’ailier international sénégalais (25 ans, 4 sélections) est rentré dans l’heure de jeu en remplacement à Jordi Mboula.
