La compagnie aérienne nationale du Burkina Faso, Air Burkina, a annoncé mardi qu’elle suspendait ses vols vers le Mali, suite aux sanctions annoncées dimanche par la Communauté économique des Etats de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (CEDEAO).
“Suite à la fermeture des frontières des pays de la CEDEAO avec le Mali, Air Burkina suspend ses vols au départ et à destination du Mali jusqu’à nouvel ordre”, a-t-elle indiqué dans un communiqué.
L’organisation sous régionale a décidé entre autres de fermer les frontières avec le Mali au sein de l’espace CEDEAO et de suspendre les transactions avec Bamako, à l’exception des produits médicaux et de première nécessité, les produits pétroliers et l’électricité.
