La situation actuelle au Burkina Faso préoccupe la CEDEAO. Ainsi, à travers un communiqué parcouru ce dimanche, le Président de la Commission de cette organisation sous-régionale a indiqué qu’elle «suit avec une grande préoccupation la situation au Burkina Faso caractérisée ce dimanche 23 janvier 2022 par des tirs dans certains camps militaires du pays».
«La CEDEAO appelle au calme et marque sa solidarité avec le Président Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, le gouvernement et le peuple du Burkina Faso», ajoute-t-on dans le document.
En sus, la Commission de la CEDEAO «demande aux militaires de demeurer dans une posture républicaine et de privilégier le dialogue avec les autorités».
