La CEDEAO a réagi sur la situation confuse qui prévaut actuellement au Burkina Faso. L’institution demande aux militaires de regagner les casernes.
La CEDEAO « suit avec une grande préoccupation l’évolution de la situation politique et sécuritaire au Burkina Faso, caractérisée, depuis le dimanche 23 janvier 2022, par une tentative de coup d’Etat. La CEDEAO condamne cet acte d’une extrême gravité qui ne saurait être toléré, au regard des dispositions réglementaires pertinentes », renseigne leur communiqué.
De plus, elle tient les militaires pour responsables de l’intégrité physique du président Roch Marc Christian Kaboré. « La CEDEAO demande aux militaires de retourner dans les casernes, de maintenir une posture républicaine et de privilégier le dialogue avec les autorités pour résoudre les problèmes », terminent les membres de l’organisation sous-régionale.
