Le président de LR Christian Jacob a accusé Emmanuel Macron de faire campagne sur les moyens de l’Etat, une situation « pas loin du détournement de fonds publics », dans une interview au Figaro publiée mercredi.
Le chef de l’Etat, qui n’est toujours pas candidat déclaré à la présidentielle, « fait campagne avec les moyens de l’État, ce qui n’est pas acceptable. On n’est pas loin du détournement de fonds publics », a estimé le patron de LR.
Selon lui, Emmanuel Macron retarde son annonce de candidature « parce qu’il n’a pas de bilan à présenter ».
Christian Jacob avait saisi le 11 janvier la commission des compte de campagne ainsi que l’Arcom (ex-CSA) pour les alerter sur les dépenses liées aux déplacements d’Emmanuel Macron. Mardi, le député LR Eric Ciotti avait parlé de « scandale démocratique ».
Interrogé par ailleurs sur l »union des droites » que promeut Eric Zemmour, Christian Jacob a estimé que « c’est surtout l’union de ceux qui retournent leur veste et trahissent leur camp, à coups de petits débauchages et de petites combines ».
Mais « tout cela ne fait pas un projet politique » car « Éric Zemmour est dans l’incantation permanente, mais où sont ses propositions? » s’est-il interrogé.
Parrainages
En ce qui concerne les parrainages, il a rappelé « une règle claire » : « quand on est membre des Républicains, on soutient le candidat LR, c’est-à-dire Valérie Pécresse ».
« Je n’imagine pas que certains maires LR soutiennent un autre candidat », a-t-il assuré, se disant « vraiment confiant pour la présidentielle » sous la houlette de Valérie Pécresse qui « a su redonner un vrai espoir au peuple de droite ».
