Sur le marché des changes, l’Euro s’est déprécié sur un an par rapport au yuan chinois (-10,3%), au dollar américain (-7,9%) et à la livre sterling (-6,5%). En revanche, la monnaie européenne s’est appréciée par rapport au yen japonais (+3,1%).
Les taux directeurs des Banques centrales des pays développés sont restés inchangés dans l’ensemble, à l’exception de ceux de la Bank of England (BoE) où les Autorités monétaires ont relevé le 16 décembre 2021 leur taux directeur, qui est passé de 0,100% à 0,250%. Au niveau des pays émergents, la Banque Centrale du Brésil a également relevé son taux directeur à 9,250% contre 7,750% précédemment.
