Inspirés du mouvement lancé au Canada pour protester contre les restrictions sanitaires, les « convois de la liberté » sont interdits à Paris, a annoncé jeudi la préfecture de police de Paris. Le mouvement prévoyait de bloquer la capitale vendredi, mais un dispositif sera mis en place pour empêcher les blocages et interpeller les contrevenants à cette interdiction.
Le préfet de police a annoncé, jeudi 10 février, interdire à Paris les « convois de la liberté », inspirés d’un mouvement lancé au Canada pour protester contre les restrictions sanitaires, qui prévoyaient de « bloquer la capitale » à partir de vendredi.
« Un dispositif spécifique sera mis en place (…) pour empêcher les blocages d’axes routiers, verbaliser et interpeller les contrevenants à cette interdiction », a ajouté la préfecture de police dans un communiqué.

Des milliers d’opposants au passe vaccinal ont annoncé sur les réseaux sociaux vouloir « rouler sur Paris » dans le cadre de « convois de la liberté », inspirés par les routiers canadiens qui bloquent le centre de la capitale de leur pays, Ottawa.
Plusieurs convois sont déjà partis mercredi de Nice, Bayonne et Perpignan.
Ils prévoient de rallier Paris vendredi soir et certains appellent ensuite à rejoindre Bruxelles pour une « convergence européenne » prévue le lundi 14 février.
Le préfet de police, qui a donné « des consignes de fermeté » aux policiers, rappelle qu’entraver la circulation est passible d’une peine de deux ans d’emprisonnement, d’une amende de 4 500 euros, de l’immobilisation et de la mise en fourrière du véhicule, de la réduction de moitié du nombre maximal de points du permis de conduire et de sa suspension pour une durée maximale de trois ans.
« L’organisateur d’une manifestation interdite peut être puni de six mois d’emprisonnement et de 7 500 euros d’amende et les participants seront verbalisés avec une contravention de quatrième classe », soit 135 euros, ajoute la préfecture.
