Une femme a porté plainte pour viol à Los Angeles contre le rappeur Snoop Dogg, qu’elle accuse de l’avoir agressée en 2013 en marge d’une audition.
La plainte, déposée mercredi au civil devant un tribunal fédéral, vise également Bishop Don « Magic » Juan, de son vrai nom Donald Campbell et présenté comme le « conseiller spirituel » de Snoop Dogg, quant à lui Calvin Broadus pour l’état-civil.
Selon le récit de la plaignante, qui a requis l’anonymat, elle était à l’époque danseuse et s’était produite sur scène pour l’artiste et d’autres rappeurs.
A l’issue d’une soirée au studio de Snoop Dogg en mai 2013, Campbell avait proposé de la raccompagner chez elle mais l’avait en réalité conduite à son propre domicile où, « épuisée, elle s’était endormie ».
La plaignante accuse Campbell de l’avoir agressée sexuellement au petit matin, avant de la conduire de nouveau au studio de Snoop Dogg pour une audition plus tard dans la journée.
Malgré le contexte, elle dit avoir accepté « dans l’espoir de faire avancer sa carrière ». Une fois au studio, elle s’était sentie mal et s’était rendue aux toilettes. La plainte affirme que Snoop Dogg en a profité pour ouvrir la porte des toilettes où il l’a contrainte à une fellation pendant qu’elle se soulageait.

Il l’avait laissée là, « humiliée, terrifiée et paniquée », selon la plainte. La jeune femme demande des dommages et intérêts d’un montant non précisé.
Le jour même du dépôt de la plainte, après l’échec d’une médiation privée entre les deux parties, Snoop Dogg publiait sur son compte Instagram que « la saison des chercheuses d’or (croqueuses de diamants, ndlr) a commencé ». « Soyez prudents », a-t-il lancé à ses fans dans ce message, sans référence explicite à la plainte mais accompagné d’émojis représentant un policier, un juge et un sac d’argent.
Le rappeur, considéré comme l’un des plus riches aux Etats-Unis, fait partie des stars du hip-hop qui se produiront dimanche à Los Angeles lors de la finale du championnat de football américain, l’un des événements les plus suivis de l’année aux Etats-Unis.
