En novembre dernier, le secrétaire Antony Blinken s’est rendu sur le continent pour signaler l’engagement des États-Unis à renforcer les liens économiques, sociaux et politiques avec nos partenaires en Afrique. La délégation fera progresser cet engagement en mettant les entreprises et les investisseurs en contact avec les outils et les ressources de Prosper Africa afin de supprimer les obstacles au commerce et à l’investissement, de faire avancer les transactions et de promouvoir les opportunités de marché
Il s’agit de la première d’une série de visites de diplomatie économique que le département d’État entreprendra pour promouvoir les échanges commerciaux et les investissements entre les États-Unis et l’Afrique dans le cadre de l’initiative pangouvernementale Prosper Africa.
