Le général Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, chef du Conseil souverain soudanais a rencontré dimanche, Moussa Faki, président de la commission de l’Union africaine.
L’objectif de cet entretien était de discuter des questions politiques du Soudan. Les deux hommes se sont mis d’accord, « tout accord ou initiative » soutiendra la stratégie de stabilité en Afrique.
« Je crois qu’il y a des accords conclus à ces niveaux de l’Union africaine, et il n’est pas non plus possible de passer outre l’Amérique et la visite de l’envoyé américain dans la Corne de l’Afrique à cet égard. Bien sûr, tout accord ou initiative soutiendra la stratégie de stabilité en Afrique et cela soutiendra le dialogue qui a été lancé par M. Volker (Perthes, représentant spécial du Secrétaire général des Nations unies) et a été soutenu par le Conseil souverain. Mais les partis politiques (au Soudan) avec leurs niveaux élevés sur cette question en disant pas de négociations, pas de partenariat les mettront en confrontation avec la société internationale, et même aussi avec le médiateur africain. » a expliqué leDr. Al Rasheed Ibrahim, expert en relations internationales.
En visite au Soudan pendant deux jours, Moussa Faki rencontrera également les partis d’opposition.
Dimanche, Mohammed al-Fekki, ancien dirigeant civil du soudan, limogé au moment du putsch d’octobre dernier puis relâché quelques jours plus tard, a de nouveau été arrêté.
Cette arrestation comme celles de plusieurs civils sont dénoncées par le camp pro démocratie qui accusent le pouvoir en place de vouloir réinstaller l’appareil sécuritaire et politique de l’ancien régime.
