Le service de surveillance GlobalCheck et des journalistes de l’AFP à Moscou ont constaté des problèmes pour accéder au site de Facebook, de même qu’à ceux des médias Meduza, Deutsche Welle, RFE-RL et du service russophone de la BBC.
Les pages internet de Facebook et plusieurs médias indépendants étaient en partie inaccessibles ce vendredi 4 mars en Russie, au moment où les autorités russes resserrent leur étau autour des voix critiques, en pleine guerre en Ukraine.

Pas de notification des autorités
Sur son compte Telegram, le média Meduza a indiqué que son site ne s’ouvrait plus chez « une partie de ses utilisateurs » en Russie, mais a précisé ne pas avoir reçu pour l’heure de notification des autorités sur un blocage.
Deutsche Welle, RFE-RL et le service russophone de la BBC sont financés respectivement par Berlin, Washington et Londres. En Russie, leurs journalistes publient régulièrement des enquêtes critiques sur le Kremlin.
Le mois dernier, Deutsche Welle a été interdit en Russie et ses reporters contraints d’arrêter de travailler.
Depuis l’invasion de l’Ukraine par Moscou, les autorités russes ont renforcé leurs pressions contre les derniers indépendants.
Le pouvoir prépare notamment un durcissement de son arsenal répressif. Un projet de loi, qui prévoit jusqu’à 15 ans de prison pour toute publication de « fake news » concernant l’armée russe, sera examiné vendredi à la Douma.
BBC News recommande d’utiliser son application
Peu après minuit, le compte Twitter de BBC News en Russie a en effet signalé des problèmes d’accès à son site internet.
« Les services de suivi des blocs signalent qu’il y a des problèmes d’accès au site Web du service russe de la BBC en Russie. Le domaine https://bbc.com n’est pas répertorié dans le registre des sites interdits de Roskomnadzor (le service fédéral de supervision des communications, des technologies de l’information et des médias de masse en Russie, ndlr) », peut-on lire.
Le site d’informations précisait ensuite que son application pour iPhone et Android restait disponible et opérationnelle. « Suivez-nous sur les réseaux sociaux pour suivre l’actualité la plus importante », conseille BBC News, avec les liens vers ses page Facebook, VKontakte, Telegram et Instagram dans son en-tête de profil Twitter.
