Les Rolling Stones seront en concert en juillet en France, à Paris et à Lyon, dans le cadre de leur tournée européenne fêtant les 60 ans de leur formation, a annoncé lundi la société de promotion Live Nation.
Au total, 14 concerts seront donnés dans dix pays pour cette tournée baptisée « Sixty » (soixante en français).
Elle débutera le 1er juin à Madrid pour s’achever le 31 juillet à Stockholm, en passant notamment par le mythique stade d’Anfield à Liverpool, celui de San Siro à Milan ou encore à Bruxelles.
En France, les fans du groupe pourront les voir le 19 juillet au Groupama Stadium de Lyon et le 23 juillet à l’hippodrome de Paris-Longchamp, avec 50.000 places disponibles à chaque fois.
Ce sera une tournée européenne sans Charlie Watts, batteur historique décédé en 2021, remplacé par Steve Jordan, nouveau venu, pour la tournée américaine l’an dernier.
Elle avait commencé à être dévoilée vendredi sur les réseaux sociaux, à travers une séquence de 13 secondes, dans laquelle on entendait les premières notes du hit « Can’t you hear me knocking ? » (« Tu ne m’entends pas frapper ? »), avec le fameux logo à la langue pendue rouge disposé à différents endroits sur une carte.
L’année 2022 est chargée en symboles pour les Stones.
Le groupe fête les 50 ans d’un de ses albums iconiques, « Exile on main street » et surtout ses 60 ans d’existence.
L’acte de naissance du groupe est fixé par la critique rock à leur première scène ensemble en juillet 1962 au Marquee à Londres.
