La Commission électorale de Sierra Leone a annoncé lundi, lors d’une conférence de presse dans la capitale Freetown, que la date officielle de tenue des prochaines élections présidentielles serait le 24 juin 2023.
Les élections présidentielles seront organisées en même temps que les élections des membres ordinaires du Parlement et des représentants des conseils locaux, a indiqué le commissaire électoral Mohamed Konneh, cité par Xinhua.
La commission a confirmé qu’elle prévoyait d’enregistrer les électeurs éligibles du 3 septembre au 4 octobre pour les prochaines élections.
