L’essence est devenue une denrée rare depuis plusieurs jours dans les rues de Bangui. Les stations essence de la Centrafrique connaissent de gros problèmes d’approvisionnement, ont annoncé des médias locaux.
Selon la Radio Luka Ndeke, « la crise de carburant secoue depuis 72 heures la ville de Bangui » et « il est difficile pour les automobilistes et certains consommateurs de s’approvisionner dans les stations-services », déjà à court de carburant.
De son côté, le journal Ndjoni Sango a relevé qu’« il faut faire la queue et attendre des heures devant les stations essence pour s’approvisionner en carburant ».
Pour sa part, le journal en ligne “Corbeau News” (indépendant), a indiqué que « la plupart des stations-services sont fermées, tandis que de longues files d’attente persistent devant celles qui sont encore ouvertes ».
Une occasion pour les revendeurs de faire de la spéculation sur le peu de produits dont ils disposent. « Pour illustration, le litre d’essence qui se vendait à 800 francs (1,2 euros) est passé à 1000 francs CFA (1,5 euros)», a constaté la Radio Ndeke Luka.
Pour faire face à la situation de crise, certains centrafricains ont opté pour le vélo en attendant la réaction du gouvernement, selon l’agence Anadolu.
