Le Conseil café cacao (CCC) de Côte d’Ivoire va ouvrir une représentation pour l’Asie et le Moyen-Orient, qui pourrait être basée à Abou Dhabi. Une annonce faîte par le CCC à l’issue d’une mission réalisée à Abu Dhabi.
« A l’occasion de cette mission, des rencontres ont été réalisées avec des investisseurs Emiratis, comprenant des entreprises de gestion de fonds d’investissements, mais également des entreprises de transformation capables d’investir directement dans le secteur du cacao, indique le CCC. Parmi celles-ci, TALC Investment, AGathia Group PJSC et Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) », rapporte le site d’information d’agriculture commodafrica.com.
La Côte d’Ivoire veut étendre le secteur commercial du café et cacao dans le monde. C’est pourquoi, elle ne manque de défendre sa position afin de maintenir le cap. D’ailleurs, lors de son passage à Paris, le ministre d’Etat ivoirien à l’Agriculture, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, a tenu à défendre l’or brun, dont la Côte d’Ivoire est le premier producteur au monde (40 %) devant son voisin le Ghana (20 %).
