Comme tous les Russes, Alexandre est de plus en plus vigilant lorsqu’il fait ses courses. Les prix ne cessent d’augmenter depuis le début de la guerre en Ukraine, la Banque centrale russe évoquant début mars une inflation de 20 % en 2022.

« Une attaque de l’Ukraine contre la Crimée ? J’en doute. Ils savent que cela aurait été une guerre ouverte avec la Russie », réagit Alexandre lorsque le présentateur TV affirme que l’armée russe a mis la main sur des documents « prouvant » que l’Ukraine préparait une invasion.
Pour autant, Alexandre soutient son pays et son président. « Accuser Poutine de tous les maux, c’est comme accuser Staline. C’est le cours politique et historique qui les a forcés à prendre de telles décisions, ils n’avaient pas le choix, pense-t-il. Je suis Russe. Je vois mal comment je pourrais ne pas soutenir mon pays. Je peux être critique, ou ne pas l’aimer, mais dans une telle situation, je dois le soutenir. »
