L’accord entre l’Espagne et le Maroc au sujet du Sahara Occidental et qui inclut les villes de Ceuta et Melilla sera débattu au Parlement espagnol, ce mardi. Le soutien de Pedro Sanchez au plan marocain d’autonomie du Sahara est toujours contesté.
La polémique déclenchée par l’accord conclu entre le Maroc et l’Espagne ne faiblit toujours pas, près de trois semaines après. Ce mardi 5 avril, les partis Podemos, ERC et Bildu ont décidé de présenter au Congrès une proposition de loi visant à ratifier les résolutions des Nations Unies sur le Sahara Occidental, appelant à un référendum d’autodétermination. Une prise de position contraire à celle du gouvernement espagnol.
D’ailleurs, Sira Rego, porte-parole fédérale du groupe parlementaire l’Izquierda Unida, interpelle la formation politique du chef du gouvernement espagnol, Pedro Sanchez, le PSOE (Parti socialiste ouvrier espagnol). La militante de l’IU conseille de saisir la belle « occasion en or » offerte par le Congrès pour faire machine arrière en vue de soutenir le référendum d’autodétermination au Sahara Occidental.
