Au Mozambique, une brigade de police locale 100 % féminine contre les violences sur les femmes

Dans le village mozambicain de Manhene, près de la frontière du Zimbabwe, une brigade de police locale exclusivement féminine, créée à l’origine pour pouvoir fouiller et interpeller des femmes, a été reconvertie en unité de lutte contre les violences basées sur le genre. Elles interpellent les maris violents et mettent les femmes à l’abri grâce à l’association Lemusica, qui tente de faire évoluer les mentalités.
