Plusieurs syndicats, partis, associations et médias dont la CGT, Solidaires, Attac, SOS Racisme, le Mrap, L’Humanité, La France Insoumise et le NPA appellent à une « journée nationale de manifestation » le 12 juin « pour les libertés et contre l’extrême droite ».
Constatant un « climat politique et social alarmant », dans lequel « s’allier avec l’extrême droite ou reprendre ses idées ne constituent plus un interdit », et où « les attaques contre les libertés et les droits sociaux s’accentuent gravement », les signataires déplorent l’adoption de « lois liberticides » qui « organisent une société autoritaire de surveillance et de contrôle ».
« De plus, si certaines de ces lois stigmatisent une partie de la population en raison de sa religion, d’autres en ciblent en raison de leur activité militante », affirment-ils.
« Face à ce climat de haine, raciste et attentatoire aux libertés individuelles et collectives, nous avons décidé collectivement d’organiser le samedi 12 juin une première grande journée nationale de manifestation et de mobilisations qui se déclinera localement », écrivent-ils.
Parmi les partis signataires, Générations, Place Publique, les Jeunes Ecologistes et le Mouvement des Jeunes Communistes, mais pas le PCF ni EELV.
Le PCF a indiqué dans un communiqué qu’il participera à la mobilisation, jugeant que la France « vit un moment particulièrement dangereux », alors que « le pouvoir macronien et la droite se livrent une surenchère calamiteuse avec l’extrême droite » et « nourrissent les divisions de la société française »
Le PS, qui a publié un communiqué exprimant son soutien, participera aux manifestations, a également indiqué un de ses porte-parole, Pierre Jouvet.
« Nous partageons l’alarme des signataires quant à la banalisation des idées et de la rhétorique d’extrême droite, dans les médias et jusqu’au plus haut niveau de l’État, qui a des conséquences très concrètes sur la libération d’une violence d’extrême droite et sur la banalisation des propos et actes racistes et sexistes », souligne le PS dans son communiqué.
