Le Coordonnateur du Projet d’appui au développement des micro, petites et moyennes entreprises (PADMPME), Alexis Mangala, et le directeur général adjoint d’EquityBCDC, Jean-Claude Tshipama, ont signé le 1er juin 2021 à Kinshasa, un accord qui prévoit une subvention à 750 projets de jeunes entrepreneurs de petites et moyennes entreprises (PME), lauréats du Concours des plans d’affaires (COPA).
L’accord vise à matérialiser le décaissement des fonds promis aux PME bénéficiaires de cet appui financier après la première édition du Concours organisé par le PADMPME à travers le consortium Deloitte, I&F Entrepreneuriat et Kivu Entrepreneur, en faveur des PME des villes de Kinshasa, Matadi (Kongo Central), Goma (Nord-Kivu) et Lubumbashi (Haut-Katanga). Ce consortium chargé de la mise en œuvre du programme va inviter les PME à la signature d’un contrat de performance. Ensuite, interviendra le premier décaissement des fonds pour la mise en œuvre des plans d’affaires retenus.
Le projet apporte des appuis aux PME évoluant dans les secteurs de l’agro-transformation, l’industrie légère et des services à valeur ajoutée.
Coordonné par le PADMPME, une initiative du gouvernement congolais à travers le ministère de l’Entrepreneuriat et des PME, COPA/PME est financé par la Banque mondiale. Sa mission est d’aider à lutter contre les obstacles qui entravent le développement des micro, petites et moyennes entreprises, concernant notamment l’accès limité au financement, la déficience des infrastructures, le déficit de compétences et le manque de main-d’œuvre de qualifiée. Et ce, à travers un accompagnement global d’ordre financier et non-financier au cours de différentes phases de sélection afin de soutenir leur potentiel de croissance.
