Dimanche soir 6 juin, deux femmes âgées de 75 et 91 ans ont été brutalement agressées à leur domicile de la zone administrative de Sigubudwini à Tsomo, dans le Cap oriental en Afrique du Sud.
Les femmes âgées de 75 et 91 ans dormaient lorsque deux suspects sont entrés par effraction dans leur maison par une fenêtre et ont exigé de l’argent, avant d’agresser sexuellement le couple. Les suspects auraient exigé de l’argent des victimes avant de procéder à leur viol.
Une seule des femmes a survécu à l’attaque et les policiers sud-africains recherchent maintenant les auteurs a déclaré le brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana, porte-parole du SAPS au Cap oriental;
« Au cours de l’incident, l’une des victimes a réussi à s’échapper pour sauver sa vie dans la propriété d’un voisin, tandis que l’autre a été laissée à l’intérieur de la maison où l’incident a eu lieu.
Lorsque la police est arrivée sur les lieux du crime, elle a trouvé la femme de 91 ans à l’extérieur de la maison. Malheureusement, elle était déjà décédée. SAPS a déclaré qu’ils ne savent toujours pas quelle arme a été utilisée dans le meurtre.
Le lieutenant-général Ntshinga, commissaire de police du Cap oriental, a condamné “l’attaque sans cœur” et a déclaré que SAP traquerait et trouverait les suspects responsables.
Ntshinga a dit ;
« Nous allons les chasser et les trouver. Il vaut mieux qu’ils se conditionnent à dire au revoir à leurs familles car la prison les attend.
