Avant le grand chantier qui débutera à l’automne 2023, le Centre Pompidou a achevé mercredi son premier lifting: une entrée unique a été aménagée sur sa piazza et sa « chenille » d’escaliers mécaniques a été entièrement refaite.

Signature de l’édifice futuriste de l’architecte Renzo Piano inauguré en 1977, la « chenille » qui permet de découvrir le vieux Paris, à mesure qu’on s’élève d’étage en étage, a été aussi refaite, même si son aspect extérieur n’a pas changé.
