Ce mercredi 14 juillet, Britney Spears a de nouveau supplié la justice de mettre fin à sa tutelle, en larmes. Comme le rapportent les médias américains, le tribunal de Los Angeles a en effet autorisé la princesse de la pop à choisir son propre avocat, ce qu’elle n’avait jamais pu faire auparavant, puisque la tutelle la prive de la majorité de ses droits.
C’est Mathew Rosengart, connu pour avoir défendu d’autres stars dans le passé, telles que Sean Penn ou Steven Spielberg, qui a été engagé par l’artiste. Une procédure devrait être lancée par ce dernier dans les prochains jours ou les prochaines semaines, afin de tenter de mettre fin à la tutelle. Retrouvant l’espoir, Britney Spears a remercié ses fans pour leur soutien sur Twitter avant d’écrire dans un second message « #FreeBritney« .
