La 16ème édition de Miss Aura International, devrait avoir lieu du 20 septembre au 5 octobre 2021 dans le lieu paradisiaque de Rixos Sungate Resorts, ville d’Antalya, Turquie. Cette année, le Brésil sera représenté par Luana Brito, originaire de Bahia, une ville dont l’écrasante majorité de la population sont noirs et sont très influencés par la culture africaine. Luana postulera pour la succession de la Portugaise, Andreia Correia, lauréate de la présente édition en 2020.
Originaire de Bahia, Luana Brito représentera le Brésil à l’édition de cette année de Miss Aura International. C’est une Latina mesurant 1m70 et vivant actuellement à Londres, au Royaume-Uni. Elle a fait de la création de mode à l’université, ce qui lui a permis d’explorer son côté créatif et de choisir ce qu’elle veut pour l’avenir. Luana Brito travaille dans le monde de la mode, qu’il s’agisse de créer des vêtements ou de les porter et trouve beaucoup d’inspiration dans son quotidien.
Luana Brito, qui aime voyager seule dans différentes villes ou pays, explorer de nouvelles cultures, rencontrer de nouvelles personnes, se connaître et se redécouvrir à travers de nouvelles expériences, a profité de ses réseaux sociaux pour partager ses sentiments en écrivant : « Miss Aura International Brésil 2021 ! Premier concours de reconstitution historique. Connaissez-vous la notion de représenter mon pays ? J’ai toujours été très fière de mes racines et je les ai toujours emmenées partout où j’allais, et j’ai cette opportunité de représenter non seulement le Brésil, mais le Nord-Est et le peuple Preto, c’est incroyable. Je voulais juste dire que je vais apporter la culture bahianaise en Turquie ».
L’Etat de Bahia, où Luana Brito est née et a grandi, abrite la plupart de la population et est très influencé par la culture africaine, la nourriture, les épices et même par la musique et les traditions du continent africain. Luana succède à Miss Aura International Brésil 2020 Regiane Meire, qui a fait la fierté de son pays lors de la dernière édition du concours international et a également remporté le prix spécial Miss National Costume.
Miss Aura International est un concours de beauté international organisé chaque année, depuis 2006, en Turquie, anciennement connu sous le nom de Miss Kremer International. Outre le titre international et quatre places de finaliste, la compétition comprendra également des compétitions préliminaires et des récompenses spéciales telles que Miss Amitié, Miss Talent, Miss Costume National, Miss Bikini, Miss Annex, Miss Rixos Sungate et Miss Roberto Bravo.
