La France envoie dès « demain, deux Canadairs et un avion de commandement » en Kabylie pour faire face aux terribles incendies qui ravagent le nord-est de l’Algérie, a annoncé mercredi le président français Emmanuel Macron sur les réseaux sociaux.
« Face aux drames auxquels sont confrontés les amis de la France, notre solidarité est sans réserve » a assuré le chef de l’Etat.
Emmanuel Macron fait état de tout le soutien de la nation française à l’égard du peuple algérien.
Plus tôt dans la journée, le chef de la diplomatie Jean-Yves Le Drian avait proposé l’aide de Paris dans un tweet, en affirmant que « la France se tient prête à apporter son appui pour faire face à cette situation ».
Selon le dernier bilan officiel diffusé à la mi-journée, 65 morts sont à déplorer dont 28 militaires et 37 civils.
L’agence APS indique que 110 incendies se sont déclarés dans la localité de Tizi Ouzou depuis lundi.
Pour rappel, la protection civile affirme dans un dernier bilan diffusé mercredi matin, que 86 feux sont toujours actifs dont 30 pour la seule localité de Tizi Ouzou.
Le président de la République algérienne, Abdelmadjid Tebboune a décrété trois jours de deuil national, à compter de jeudi 12 août, en hommage aux « citoyens et civils » qui ont péri dans ces incendies.
Ce deuil national est assorti « du gel temporaire de toutes les activités gouvernementales locales, à l’exception de celles liées à la solidarité ».
