Attendue à la Réunion, pour présenter son album Fenfo (Quelque chose à dire, en bambara), ce samedi soir, la chanteuse malienne Fatoumata Diawara alias « Bouba » a annulé sa participation au Sakifo. Elle était présentée comme l’une des têtes d’affiche de ce festival et était très attendue.
La Malienne Fatoumata Diawara ne viendra pas au Sakifo, ce samedi soir. « C’est avec regret que nous vous annonçons que Fatoumata Diawara ne viendra pas au Sakifo, et ce pour des raisons indépendantes de notre volonté et de celle de l’artiste », indique le Sakifo, par voie de communiqué. Le directeur du festival, Jérôme Galabert, avait déjà fait savoir qu’en raison des restrictions sanitaires, les artistes pouvaient renoncer à leur participation à tout moment.
Les fans qui étaient prêts à assister à cette soirée n’ont pas caché leur découragement. « C’est effectivement regrettable d’avertir au dernier moment et d’éviter ainsi le remboursement possible. Il est clair qu’elle n’allait pas prendre l’avion ce matin pour la scène ce soir », a fustigé Nathalie Seguin. « Est-ce que quelqu’un connait la démarche à suivre pour se faire rembourser », a demandé Caroline Béziers La Fosse-Bouvet. « C’est marqué sur le site de Sakifo qu’on ne peut se faire rembourser que sur 50% si le concert est annulé », a fait savoir Mireille Marteau-Petit.
A noter par ailleurs que Fatoumata Diawara a sorti un extrait du clip « Mama » de son album « Fenfo », qui est disponible, depuis hier vendredi 10 décembre, sur sa chaîne YouTube. Un clip réalisé à Abidjan en Côte d’Ivoire et qui a été d’ailleurs très apprécié par ses fans. « Magnifique chansons et clip, mes félicitations », a apprécié Adama Camara. « Je pleure comme un enfant sans mère en écoutant cette chanson et je ne comprends vraiment pas la langue. Mais, cette chanson touche mon âme si profondément et je l’aime. Merci d’avoir apporté ces messages pour les cœurs ! », a indiqué Samuel Peretta.
