Sa mère l’a retrouvée inconsciente dans sa chambre. Nyla a été transportée à l’hôpital où elle est décédée quelques heures plus tard.
Endeuillée, la maman de Nyla a prié les parents de vérifier les smartphones de leur enfant : « Vous ne savez jamais ce que vous pourriez trouver dedans ».
« Elle était tout. C’était une enfant heureuse. C’est une douleur qui ne disparaîtra pas (…) Vous ne penseriez pas que des enfants de 10 ans essaieraient cela » a ajouté cette dernière.
