L’ex-première dame de Côte d’Ivoire, Simone Ehivet Gbagbo s’est mise en quarantaine pour une période d’observation après avoir été en contact avec un cas confirmé de Covid-19.
L’information a été donnée par Mme Gbagbo elle-même dans un message à l’occasion de la fête de la Noël célébrée ce samedi 25 décembre 2021.
« Chères sœurs, chers frères, je viens par ce billet vous souhaiter joyeux Noël. Que ce jour de commémoration de la naissance du Seigneur Jésus Christ soit pour tous, un moment de partage et de communion fraternelle », écrit-elle.
« Pour ma part, j’ai été au contact d’un cas confirmé de Covid-19 et donc je me suis mise en quarantaine pour une période d’observation », ajoute Simone Ehivet Gbagbo, invitant les populations « à plus de vigilance dans l’application des gestes barrières pendant ces moments de réjouissance ».
La Côte d’Ivoire, où la pandémie avait chuté ces dernières semaines, connaît un regain des cas, avec 377 nouveaux cas de Covid-19 enregistrés jeudi sur 3 421 échantillons prélevés soit 11 % de cas positifs, ainsi que 24 guéris et 1 décès.
