Alors que la cinquième vague de Covid-19 frappe la France de plein fouet, le gouvernement a mis en place des mesures afin de lutter contre la pandémie. Mais faut-il en attendre de nouvelles dans les prochains jours ?
Le mot d’ordre n’est autre que la vaccination. Le 27 décembre dernier, à quelques jours de la Saint-Sylvestre, Jean Castex a pris la parole pour annoncer de nouvelles mesures concernant la pandémie de Covid-19, afin d’enrayer la propagation du virus. Parmi elles, le retour des jauges dans les événements publics, mais aussi, celui du masque obligatoire en extérieur dans certaines villes ou encore le télétravail obligatoire plusieurs jours par semaine. « La vaccination reste au cœur de notre stratégie », a ainsi martelé le Premier ministre, qui n’a fait que souligner la ligne de conduite du gouvernement, mais aussi, d’Emmanuel Macron.
En effet, alors qu’il ne compte pour le moment pas annoncer de nouvelles mesures, laissant les dernières mises en place faire leurs preuves face au Covid-19 et ses variants, le président de la République a convoqué un conseil de défense pour faire le point sur la situation, quelques jours après la mise en place de ces nouvelles règles. Mais en rien il ne compte s’éloigner de son objectif principal : faire vacciner les Français. « Au fond, la ligne est simple : c’est vaccination, vaccination, vaccination, et passe vaccinal« , a ainsi précisé une proche du gouvernement dans les colonnes du Parisien, mercredi 5 janvier.

Et Emmanuel Macron ne compte pas en démordre, lui qui souhaite plus que jamais « emmerder » les réticents à la vaccination, s’attirant les foudres de ses opposants politiques. « En démocratie, le pire ennemi c’est le mensonge et la bêtise. Nous mettons une pression sur les non-vaccinés en limitant pour eux, autant que possible, l’accès aux activités de la vie sociale », a ainsi lancé sans détour le chef de l’État dans une interview télévisée vérité, dans laquelle il a assuré que dès le 15 janvier prochain, les non-vaccinés seront très limités dans leur vie quotidienne. « Vous ne pourrez plus aller au restau, vous ne pourrez plus prendre un canon, vous ne pourrez plus aller boire un café, vous ne pourrez plus aller au théâtre, vous ne pourrez plus aller au ciné… », a-t-il ainsi prévenu.
