Trois personnes ont été tuées au Soudan, jeudi, lors d’une nouvelle manifestation contre le régime militaire, a annoncé le Comité central des médecins soudanais.
La démission d’Abdallah Hamdok n’a pas altéré la colère des populations soudaines. Ce jeudi 6 janvier, les villes de Bahri, d’Omdurman et Khartoum ont été prises d’assaut par des manifestations hostiles au régime militaire dirigé par Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan. Au cours de ces mouvements de contestation, trois manifestants ont perdu la vie suite à la répression menée par les forces de l’ordre.
Deux d’entre eux ont été tuées à Oumdourman, dont l’un atteint « à la tête » et l’autre « au bassin », et un troisième a été tué dans la capitale Khartoum, touché « à la poitrine par des tirs à balles réelles », a annoncé le Comité des médecins soudanais, cité par l’AFP. Ce nouveau bilan porte à 60 le nombre de manifestants tués depuis le début des mouvements de contestation après le coup d’Etat.
Le 18 novembre, le Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies aux droits de l’Homme (HCDH) a haussé le ton face aux répressions de manifestations civiles dans ce pays. « Il est tout à fait honteux que des balles réelles aient à nouveau été utilisées hier contre des manifestants », a déclaré dans ce communiqué de presse la Haut-Commissaire, Michelle Bachelet.
Pour rappel, depuis le 25 octobre, le Soudan est le théâtre de protestations et de manifestations contre le coup d’Etat mené par l’armée, qui a proclamé l’Etat d’urgence, la dissolution du Conseil de souveraineté, entre autres mesures. Le dimanche 3 janvier, le Premier ministre Abdallah Hamdok a annoncé sa démission de son poste « pour céder la place et remettre cette responsabilité entre les mains du peuple soudanais ». Une décision qui n’a pas altéré la colère et les manifestations contre le régime Al-Burhan.
