La Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) vient enfin de réagir après le match qui a beaucoup fait parler hier entre la Tunisie et le Mali, suite à la décision de l’arbitre, Janny Sikazwe, de siffler la fin du match avant la fin du temps réglementaire.
« En ce qui concerne le match de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations TotalEnergies entre la Tunisie et le Mali joué à Limbe le 12 janvier 2022, la CAF recueille tous les rapports nécessaires auprès des officiels présents lors du match.
La CAF transmet ces documents aux organes compétents de la CAF. A ce stade, la CAF n’est pas en mesure de faire d’autres commentaires jusqu’à ce que les organes responsables indiquent la marche à suivre », a déclaré la CAF à travers un communiqué publié ce jeudi 13 janvier.
Il va donc falloir patienter avant de connaître les décisions et les éventuelles sanctions que la CAF prendra après l’un des matchs les plus polémiques de l’histoire de la compétition.
Pour rappel, d’après plusieurs journalistes, l’arbitre de la rencontre Tunisie vs Mali aurait souffert d’insolation.
