La contestation ne faiblit pas au Soudan où sept manifestants ont trouvé la mort, ce lundi, lors de mouvements de protestation à Khartoum, la capitale de ce pays d’Afrique de l’Est.
Un comité de médecins soudanais a annoncé que sept manifestants ont été tués, ce lundi 17 janvier, en marge de mouvements de protestation à Khartoum, la capitale. La même source a par ailleurs indiqué que des dizaines de manifestants ont été blessés lors de la répression de la contestation par les forces de sécurité soudanaises.
Le Comité central des médecins soudanais a précisé, dans un communiqué, que les forces de sécurité ont fait usage de grenades lacrymogènes, de balles en caoutchouc et de balles réelles pour disperser les manifestants qui s’activaient aux abords du palais présidentiel. Il n’y a pas que Khartoum qui a été secoué par des manifestations, relève Anadolu.
Selon le journal en effet, des villes comme Medani, Port Soudan, Gadaref et autre Atbara ont également abrité des manifestations hostiles au régime militaire d’Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, chef du Conseil souverain soudanais.
